Before working with us or booking a service, please take a few minutes to read through these Terms of Service. They’re here to protect both you and us, and help keep things running smoothly. By using our site or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

We’re committed to creating tailored documents that reflect you and your goals, and we work closely with you to get there.
Turnaround Times
We offer a standard 5–7 business day turnaround, starting from the moment we receive all required information (not the time of purchase). If there are delays in receiving your documents or answers to our questions, your job may be rescheduled based on our current workload.
To help us meet your deadline, it’s important that you respond promptly with the info we request.
We also offer express and urgent services. Timelines for express services begin once all required info is received.
File Delivery
We’ll provide your final documents in both editable Word (.docx) format and PDF format, so you can make updates in the future as needed.
Revisions
All standard services come with unlimited revisions for 30 days from the date of delivery. After that timeframe, we’re happy to make updates, but they’ll be treated as a new job and quoted based on the scope.
Revisions must relate to the original brief, requests to rewrite based on a new job ad or completely different direction may require a new service.
Payments and Refunds
Payment is required upfront when booking a service through our website.
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you decide not to proceed after placing an order and we haven’t started work, we’ll happily refund your payment in full.
If we’ve already started any preparatory work, sent tailored instructions, or gathered materials with you, a 15% service fee will be withheld from your refund to cover time spent.
No refunds are available once the writing process has begun or if the final documents have already been delivered.
Communication and Client Responsibility
Clear communication = great results.
We rely on you to provide accurate, complete information to help us tailor your documents. If you’re unresponsive or there are delays in getting the info we need, your project may be pushed back and fall outside the 5–7 day timeframe.
If we don’t hear from you within 30 days, we will refund your payment, less 15% if we have spent time on your job.
Intellectual Property and Site Content
Everything on our site: text, layout, branding, images, and templates, belongs to Resume Rescue. You’re welcome to browse and learn from it, but you cannot copy or reuse our materials without written permission.
Legal Stuff
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If something ever goes wrong (unlikely, but life happens), we’ll aim to resolve things amicably first. If needed, legal proceedings will be handled under the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of our site means you accept the current version.
